I like your new layout. How'd you make it?

I used Paint Shop Pro 7 to do most of the hard work. Also it took me several hours of trial and error to put the HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) & CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) together. I had gotten some help from CSS Tutorial, PHP.net, CodeGrrl and friends who were willing to point out the errors I didn't spot doing.

I still think your layout's pretty cool. Can you make a layout for me?

As much as I'm flattered that you would ask me to do something like that, I sadly have to refuse. I work on several different websites (including this site), have real world work to do, etc.

Would you like to be sister sites with me?

It boils down to this: Chances are, if I don't know you, then being a sister/brother/sibling site is out of the question. But, and this is a really BIG but, if we know each other really well, and we actually chat frequently, help each other, and so on, then there's a really good chance that I'll say yes.

Would you exchange links with me?

It all depends on the content of your site. If it interests me, then most likely, yes, I'd be willing to exchange links. However, questionable content - amongst other things will tend to have me reject the link exchange request.

Are these questions really asked?

Most of them, yes. Others aren't. I simply decided to put them up just to be on the safe side and answer some questions that popped up in my mind.

Why Sailor Christmas? Why not choose another holiday?

She was the first one (of the Holiday Senshi) that I created a picture for. I actually was messing around with a Super Sailor Jupiter picture several years ago, elongating both of the bows, removing the ponytail, etc. I then saved it to a file and forgot it for a while. Then I showed my edited pic to a friend of mine and we got to joking around as to a name for the 'new senshi'. Between the two of us, I came up with Sailor Christmas....Red hair, green eyes, etc. I then re-opened my pic editing program (the Paint program that came with the PC) and added the red stripe to the skirt and made the shoe laces red and white, basically added the finishing touches. As to why Christmas instead of another holiday, well, I had to start with some holiday, right? And at the time, I was also thinking of the hymn called 'Onward Christian Soldier'.

Can I create my own Holiday Senshi/Scouts?

By all means, yes. Go right ahead. No permission needed (though it's nice that someone's asking anyway). I'd be interested to see what you make out of your own Holiday Senshi/Scout.

Can the Holiday Senshi I make be put onto your site?

This is a tricky thing. I usually only put up my own senshi because, well... they're my own. I'm still having problems filling out their profiles as it is (though I'll gladly take suggestions for the spots that are blank.

I will however look at any and all Holiday Senshi that are pointed out to me. I love seeing how many different Holiday Senshi there are out there. In fact, I occasionally look them up for myself, especially on sites like DeviantART (where there are many different variations of Sailor Christmas alone, not counting Sailor Halloween or the other Holiday Senshi).

So, yeah. The answer to this question would be a big maybe. Let me look them over, and if the senshi interests me (and if we work something out between us), then there's a chance (slim though it may be) that I might put it up.

So the Dark Princess and Yakan are seperate beings? Or two halves of a whole? How does Yakan feel about all of this? Is she resentful about being abandoned by her other half? Fearing what will happen if they're reunited? Working towards the same goals?

The 'Dark Princess' and Mamiko (since Yakan is her last name...Yakan Mamiko is put in traditional Japanese format, family name first and given name last) are two parts of a whole being.

Until she was reunited with her 'Dark Princess' half, Mamiko always had a feeling like something was missing from her life, but didn't express any feeling of loss or longing to have the void filled. When they are reunited, Mamiko is more cold, cruel and ruthless towards other people. Between the Dark Princess and Mamiko, the ability to transform into Sailor Halloween came about partly due to cause mayhem and partly in effort to bind themselves together one step further to lash back at those who would attempt to 'heal/reform' the Dark Princess.

When will the next chapter be wrote?

I wish I knew when the next chapter would be finished. It will, eventually though. But I do have the last scene of the last chapter before the songfic wrote, if that helps any (which I doubt). At the moment, I'm trying to re-plow through the main plot and see if I can come up with answers that I never really figured out yet.

When will Sailor Independence make her first appearance?

Hopefully, she'll show up when I get a chance to write stories for her (that could be an extremely long time from now considering the fact that I'm trying to reconstruct the plot line for the first three Holiday Senshi to appear and work things out), but officially, she doesn't show up in the storyline until after the songfic "Where Are You Christmas?"

Can we/I write a crossover with your senshi & my/some other senshi?

The simple answer to this question is: MAYBE.

The more filled out answer to this question is: It all depends on the situation. Which other senshi are going to be in it? Why do you want to write it? If it involves other people's senshi, who are those other people so I can ask them a few questions as well? Are the other senshi on 'live' sites? Live as compared to sites that are no longer online or not online to begin with.

In the end, every situation is different, so my answer to this question may be different each time it's asked. The first step to finding out though is by contacting me.

I'm interested in viewing/printing/etc an image in the coloring page section, but when I try to view it, I get redirected to the hotlink error image - yet I'm not hotlinking. Why is that?

Some time ago, I set the site up with Hotlink Protection, so that if someone was to link directly to the images, it'd show the hotlink error image instead. Chances are, that you may have stumbled upon the coloring page section of SCdC from a search engine (ie: Google, Yahoo!). I believe that they may have a preview of the coloring page in question on their own servers, yet when they redirect you to my site, the Hotlink Protection/Cache is still believing that the other site is linking to the image when it's not suppose to. To rectify that, the only thing I can think of is to clear the cache and try again. If that still doesn't work, let me know and we'll see about getting it worked on.
